RELIQUARY — Devotions

Small personal objects - found, made, or inherited - and placed within an old frame, each a quiet act of attention. During the process I realised the frame became a reliquary of sorts.

These works trace a continuum of care and loss: a wrapped stone, a first stitched swatch, a Great-Aunt’s locket for the man who never came home, a fledgling - lost after weeks of its mother’s devotion - and other traces of dedication and love.

Through framing and repetition, Reliquary reflects on how we honour what remains - the tender gestures of keeping, mending, and celebrating.
